A New York-based group of fast-casual vegan spots has declared bankruptcy.
According to an article from Restaurant Businews, by CHLOE filed for Chapter 11 protection on Monday and James Haber (the CEO of parent company ESquared) has resigned, with the company looking to put itself for sale by the middle of February. The post mentions that the filing is due to the pandemic, which has caused a major drop in revenue and also led to three locations being shut down.
by CHLOE, which opened its first shop in Manhattan's West Village in 2015, has three locations in Boston, including in the Back Bay, Fenway, and the Seaport District.
