A New Jersey-based chain of dining spots is getting ready to open its third Boston-area outlet.
According to a press release, Playa Bowls is debuting in the Harvard Square section of Cambridge on Saturday, August 22, moving into a space by the corner of Mt. Auburn Street and Holyoke Street. As with its other locations--including ones in Brighton by Boston College and another near Northeastern University--expect a variety of bowls with such bases as acai, banana, coconut, chia, and oatmeal, along with smoothies and fresh juices, and it will offer takeout, curbside pickup, and contactless delivery.
Playa Bowls started out as a cart in Belmar, NJ, and now has just under 100 brick-and-mortar shops mostly along the East Coast.
The address for the new location of Playa Bowls in Harvard Square is 71 Mt Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138. The website for the chain can be found at https://ift.tt/2H935Kr
