I have a weak spot for fried chicken. Just thinking about its crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside texture makes me drool. And I'm so happy that I get to enjoy lemon fried chicken anytime I want. But a new food discovery, Gang Gang Boneless Fried Chicken, made me realize that there are other flavors out there that deserve love.
Hello, Gang Gang Boneless Fried Chicken.
Gang Gang Boneless Fried Chicken is yet another brainchild of the creative individuals behind Boa Kitchen + Socials and Buwan.
With a focus on delivering savory boneless fried chicken, its menu is simple. It features seven interesting flavors -- Gangnyeom, Sriracha Mansi, Garlic Parmesan, Soy Mansi, Hot Style, Salted Egg, and Cheesy Bacon.
If you want something a bit heavier, you could opt for its Shake 'N' Bake, Gang Gang's chicken and fries combo (PHP160, solo | PHP299, friend | PHP599, gang). Flavors you can mix and match are barbeque, cheese, and sour cream for both chicken and fries.
I sampled its Soy Mansi and Gangnyeom last Friday, and both were indeed flavorful!
Gangnyeom is its take on Korean-style fried chicken. It has that nice balance of sweet and spicy flavors that even those with low heat tolerance would enjoy.
But I liked its Soy Mansi boneless fried chicken more as it had that delicious tangy taste that I love. Think of Lucky Me's Calamansi Pancit Canton but in chicken form. As a fan of the flavor, this was an instant hit for me (and even R). Just make sure to have some rice with you as the sauce tends to be too overwhelming and salty after a few bites without any carbs.
I'm planning to try its garlic parmesan and cheesy bacon next time and order of its chicken and fries combo as an afternoon snack.
