Skewer's Wood Grill in Tewksbury Is Closing, Moving to New Location in Woburn

A longtime Greek and Mediterranean restaurant in the northern suburbs is shutting down, though it will be moving to a new space a bit closer to Boston.

According to a source, Skewer's Wood Grill in Tewksbury is closing its doors, with a note on the website for the Main Street eatery indicating that it will shutter on Saturday, July 25. The note also mentions that the dining spot will open in a new space in Woburn, with that place offering takeout and catering.

Skewer's Wood Grill first opened approximately 20 years ago, offering such items as avgolemono, lamb tips, falafel, spanakopita, hummus, souvlaki, and gyros.

The address for Skewer's Wood Grill in Tewksbury is 1060 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA, 01876; as soon as we find out its new address in Woburn, we will post an update here.
