Season to Taste/Season to Go Team in North Cambridge to Open Gastropub

Last month it was reported that a highly-rated Cambridge restaurant that resided in a catering space was closing down. Now we have learned that the people behind the business will be opening a new dining and drinking spot.

According to a post within the jobs section of bostonchefs.com, Season to Taste (and Season to Go) will be opening a full-service gastropub-style restaurant that features "locally-sourced ingredients that are thoughtfully and consistently prepared, diverse and eclectic wine and beers, and a unique, craft cocktail list." It appears that the upcoming place might be opening within the Season to Taste/Season to Go space on Mass. Ave., possibly where The Table at Season to Taste had been until announcing its permanent closure in early May, though this has not yet been confirmed, so stay tuned for any updates as they come in.

The Table at Season to Taste debuted in early 2016, with the dining spot offering prix fixe menus with French influences and having chef Carl Dooley--who had been on season 13 of "Top Chef"--teaming up with Season to Taste owner Robert Harris. The Season to Taste catering operation itself is closed for the time being as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, with the business currently offering takeout and delivery via a new concept called Season to Go.
