A local group of seafood restaurants has shut down one of its Cambridge locations.
According to a source, the Harvard Square outlet of Legal Sea Foods is no longer in business, with a message from the restaurant group confirming that it has indeed closed. The dining spot, which was located in the courtyard of the Charles Hotel, was apparently slated to close at the end of June, but because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they have decided to shut their doors before their expected closing date.
We have been told by Legal Sea Foods, that they do hope to open in another location in Harvard Square at some point.
A number of other locations of Legal Sea Foods can be found in the Greater Boston area, including an outlet in Cambridge's Kendall Square--and another concept from the company called Legal Fish Bowl can also be found within the Kendall Square restaurant as well. (All Legal restaurants are temporarily closed due to the coronavirus and the restaurant restrictions that remain in place for Massachusetts dining spots until at least next week.)
The address for the now-closed location of Legal Sea Foods in Harvard Square was 20 University Road (Charles Square), Cambridge, MA, 02138. The website for the company is at https://ift.tt/2m1yLav
