A chain of high-end cookware shops that also offers cooking classes may be heading toward bankruptcy.
According to an article from Bloomberg, Sur La Table is getting ready for a possible bankruptcy filing, while also apparently looking at a possible sale of the business. The Seattle-based company temporarily closed down its U.S. shops in March, including locations in Boston's Back Bay, Burlington, Chestnut Hill, and Natick.
Sur La Table got its start back in 1972 at Pike Place Market in Seattle, with the company now consisting of approximately 125 stores. Its website can be found at https://ift.tt/2q3Ae3O
