LaPosta Pizzeria May Be Coming to Former Bee's Knees Space in Boston's Fort Point

A new pizza spot could be on its way to a red-hot section of Boston, and it would be opening where a gourmet market had been.

According to a source, LaPosta is planning to open in the city's Fort Point neighborhood, taking over a part of the old Bee's Knees space on Farnsworth Street. Our source indicates that a public meeting on the proposed pizzeria is slated for October 7 at the former Bee's Knees site and that the place is seeking a liquor license, though little other information has been given as of yet.

Bee's Knees shut down (and was seized by the state) around the beginning of 2017 and subsequently went up for auction; the market had also gone up for sale in late 2015 as well.

The address for the proposed LaPosta is 12 Farnsworth Street, Boston, MA, 02210.
