According to a source, the Fairmount Grille in Hyde Park is no longer in business, with the place apparently closing yesterday. A check on the website and Facebook page for the Fairmount Avenue spot indicates that both have been taken down and a call placed to the restaurant goes to voicemail, while Hyde Park Main Streets says that it has indeed shuttered. No reason has been given for the closure of the Fairmount Grille, nor is it known what might go into its space, so stay tuned for updates.
Fairmount Grille, which first opened in 2013 in the former Townsends space, was featured on the Boston's Hidden Restaurant site as a place to go for classic American and New American fare. A link to the review can be found below:
