A decades-old breakfast and lunch spot in the southern suburbs of Boston that also had a catering operation has shut down, as its owners have moved out of the country.
According to a source, Queen Anne's Restaurant & Catering in Canton has closed, with a "for rent" sign now out front, and a post from the Facebook page of the business (which is apparently going to be taken down soon) indicates that the Turnpike Street restaurant shuttered last month and that the family behind the spot is moving to Poland. Queen Anne's first opened back in 1960, according to an old Canton Citizen article.
The address for this now-closed dining spot and catering operation was: Queen Anne's Restaurant & Catering, 930 Turnpike Street, Canton, MA, 02021.
