Fusion Andina in Beverly Has Closed

A North Shore restaurant that featured the cuisines of two South American countries--including one that is extremely difficult to find in the Greater Boston area--has closed its doors for good.

According to an article from Wicked Local, Fusion Andina has permanently shuttered, with the Cabot Street eatery saying on its Facebook page that "Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to inform you with a heavy heart, the permanent closing of our restaurant." The dining spot, which first opened in 2015, had been temporarily closed since March, when it appeared to be shut down for renovations but it never did open back up. The Facebook post does say that a new restaurant will be replacing Fusion Andina, so keep checking back for updates as they come in.

Fusion Andina offered Andean fare, including Bolivian and Peruvian cuisine; while there are a number of Peruvian restaurants in the region, Bolivian cuisine is very tough to come by in and around Boston.

The address for the now-closed Fusion Andina was 150 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA, 01915.
