Earls Kitchen + Bar, Uncle Julio's Plan to Open at The Village at Burlington Mall

A section of a suburban mall is in the process of being reinvented, and a couple more restaurants have been proposed for the updated space.

According to an article in the Patch, locations of Earls Kitchen + Bar and Uncle Julio's are planning to open at a new outdoor "lifestyle center" called The Village at Burlington Mall, which is opening at the site of the former Sears automotive center and will also include Caffe Nero and Cava. This would be the third Boston-area location of the Vancouver-based Earls, which focuses mainly on comfort food (other locations are at the Pru and Assembly Row), while Uncle Julio's, which is an upscale Mexican chain based in Texas, would be bringing its first outlet to the Boston area--and New England.

It appears that an outdoor beer garden is also being proposed for The Village at Burlington Mall, but few details have been given on that as of yet.
