Hana Sushi in North Cambridge Has Been Ordered Closed; Exact Status Unknown

A longtime restaurant in North Cambridge for sushi and other Japanese dishes has been shut down, and it is not known if/when it might reopen again.

According to a couple of sources, Hana Sushi on Mass. Ave. is locked up and dark, with a sign in the window saying that it was closed on May 22 by order of the board of license commissioners. One source says that a hand-scrawled "closed" sign is also shown out front, with no other information given. As soon as we find out more on the exact status of Hana Sushi, we will post an update here.

Hana Sushi first opened more than 20 years ago, offering such items as sushi, tempura, teriyaki, katsu, Korean dishes, and more.
