A Kenmore Square restaurant has been replaced by a new spot with similar cuisine and a somewhat similar name.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Pho Common has taken over the Pho Countryside space, with the new Commonwealth Avenue eatery opening last weekend. As was the case with its predecessor, Pho Common offers a variety of pho (soup) options, and it also offers stir-fried noodles, vermicelli bowls, fried rice, smoothies, and more.
Pho Countryside first opened around the beginning of 2017, taking over the space where Josephine had been, and before that, a location of Petit Robert Bistro. The original location of Pho Countryside remains open in Quincy.
The address for Pho Common is 468 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA, 02215. Its Facebook page can be found at http://bit.ly/2DvuUKs
