Nutella Chocolate Mug Cake

Nutella Chocolate Mug Cake is one for those quick dessert cravings you might have. With the delicious addition of Nutella and cocoa powder, this is a sinful treat.

For the final day of Winter Warmers, here’s a quick mug cake that will keep you going for a long time. When a chocolate craving hits you, this is surely a quick answer to it. And digging in right after it is made, this is one delightful dessert you can enjoy.

Since this is served warm straight from the microwave, sending this to my Kid’s Delight event, guest hosted by PJ themed on Winter Warmers this month. However, ensure you take care to handle the heat properly.

This is the final dish for Winter Warmers for Week 1 in the BM#96.

Nutella Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients Needed:

1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
2 tbsp Nutella
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
2 to 3 tbsp Sugar
1/4 cup Milk (add 1 tbsp more if required)
2 tbsp Cooking Oil

How to make the Mug Cake

Combine all the dry ingredients together.
Add the Nutella, milk and vegetable oil and mix well. Add more milk if the batter is thick.
Pour batter into a microwave safe mug.
Microwave for 60 seconds. Rest for few seconds, and then again microwave for 30 secs.

Notes:
All microwave results are different, so ideally to have a safe result, microwave for first for 60 secs, check and again microwave for 30 secs.
My Microwave is 800 watts and I cook on 100% power.
If you want you can add other spreads as well, which of course will become a different mug cake.
