A New Dining Spot Is Going into the Former Capri Space in Arlington Heights

by Marc Hurwitz

It looks like a new eatery is on its way to Arlington Heights, taking over the space where a pizzeria had been for a quarter century.

According to several sources, work is being done on the old Capri Pizza & Subs space in Arlington Heights, with a check on the Mass. Ave. storefront showing a sign out front that says "Closed Due to the New Opening." We hear from a few sources that the upcoming dining spot could be featuring gyros and that it will not be called Capri, though nothing has been completely confirmed as of yet.

Capri shut down twice over the past few years, including in early March of 2016 (briefly) and then again in March of 2017; it had previously been home to Charlie's Pizza.

The address for the former Capri Pizza & Subs (and upcoming eatery) 1323 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, 02476.
