A brand new Mexican restaurant is looking to open on the North Shore, and it could be part of a local group of dining spots--though this has not yet been confirmed.
According to a source, Mexicali Grill is planning to open in Swampscott, with the address indicating that it would be coming to the Vinnin Square Plaza. An earlier page within the town website mentions that the restaurant is indeed looking to open there and that the family behind it runs several dining spots in the region. Another restaurant called Mexicali Grill is looking to open in the former British Beer Company space in Danvers as well, but it is not known if the two places are connected, nor is it known if either (or both) are connected to Mexicali Mexican Grill, which has locations in Holden, Natick. Spencer, Ware, Webster, and South Windsor, CT. (As soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.)
The address for this upcoming Mexican restaurant in Swampscott is: Mexicali Grill, 435 Paradise Road, Swampscott, MA, 01907.
