Thakkali Upma is an easy and healthy dish that you can make for breakfast or dinner and makes a wholesome meal anytime. This| Tomato Upma makes a change from your regular upma.
Though we frequently make either upma or Khichdi almost every other Saturday, I haven’t made this tomato upma for a while. The first time I heard somebody talk so highly of this was when I was visiting my SIL and met their friend. She was making the Mutton Biryani for us and during our visit, she was talking about her husband’s likes and mentioned that Tomato Upma was his favourite.
When I decided to do Make a dish in different appliances, I remembered that I haven’t blogged this Upma and cooked this on the stovetop. This is part of the BM#83 week 3 under Make a dish in different Appliances. Today’s version is made on the stovetop and hopefully, I will make the rest soon.
