Yet another restaurant chain has officially disappeared from the local landscape.
Eater Boston is reporting that Romano's Macaroni Grill in Burlington shut down for good on February 20, which means that there are no more locations of the chain anywhere in the Greater Boston area or the state, and only one remaining in all of New England--in South Portland, ME. The restaurant was known in part for its pasta dishes, including macaroni and cheese, lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, ravioli, and spaghetti and meatballs.
A few other regional, national, and international chains have left the Boston area over the past few years, including Bugaboo Creek, Denny's, Saladworks, Rainforest Cafe, Old Country Buffet, and Brigham's.
The address for this now-closed Italian restaurant in Burlington was: Romano's Macaroni Grill, 50 South Avenue, Burlington, MA, 01803. The website for the chain can be found at http://ift.tt/QehoNA
