b.good Taking Over Locations of Boloco in Boston (Northeastern), Burlington, Concord, Natick, and Wellesley

A local group of dining spots is buying five locations of another local group of eateries.

According to a Twitter post from @BostonTweet, b.good is taking over the Boloco shop by Northeastern University in Boston as well as locations in Burlington, Concord, Natick, and Wellesley, with a YouTube video showing that this appears to be a friendly transition from one group of restaurants to the other. The video also hints that this will apparently be part of a major expansion for b.good that could see as many as 1,000 locations opening at some point, according to founder Anthony Ackil. Boloco co-founder John Pepper says that the selling of the five restaurants is necessary for the survival of the company, saying that if the sale didn't take place, "I don't know if we would actually make it through the winter."

The Swellesley Report mentions that the Wellesley location of Boloco plans to close Wednesday, October 19, though it is not yet known when the other four shops will close.
