It looks like an award-winning pizzeria that shut down last year is still on track to be reborn in a new location.
According to a job listing within the bostonchefs.com site, the people behind Area Four in Cambridge are getting ready to open a new spot in the South End and are currently looking for a general manager, and based on an earlier article here, this job post appears to refer to a location of A4, whose original location had been in Somerville before closing due to an electrical issue that caused its building to be considered unsafe. There had been talk that the A4 folks had hoped to find a new location in Somerville, but no news has come out about that of late.
The original A4 on Somerville Avenue had received much praise, including Boston Magazine awarding it the best crust in the Boston area; the eatery was affiliated with Area Four, a restaurant in Cambridge's Kendall Square that also offers pizza as well as other comfort food items.
The address for the upcoming A4 (which is also known as A4 at Troy and will be in the Troy Boston apartment building) is 55 Traveler Street, Boston, MA, 02118. The website for Area Four is at http://areafour.com/
