The Local Fare to Open in East Arlington

A new shop that focuses on locally-made foods is on its way to the northwest suburbs of Boston, and it will be a collaboration among three business owners.

The Arlington Advocate is reporting that The Local Fare is planning to open by the corner of Lake Street and Mass. Ave. in East Arlington, with Caroline Huffstetler (Nutty Life), Rita Ng (Boston Bonbon), and Michelle Wax (Kitchen Millie) teaming up to open the place. The shop will offer such items as nut milk, cookies, cakes, macarons, spices, and more, and Ng sees it as being a mini-version of Boston Public Market in that it will sell local products in a permanent space (and it may eventually have space for seating at some point).

No opening date has been given as of yet for The Local Fare, but if all goes well, it should open by or before the middle of July.
