A local bagel maker is getting ready to open a retail shop within an indoor market in downtown Boston.
According to a job post within the bostonchefs.com site, Levend Bagelry plans to open at the Boston Public Market on Hanover Street by Haymarket Square, with the market's site saying that the shop plans to open later this month. In the past, Levend has sold its bagels at such spots as the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market, CIC Cambridge, Debra's Natural Gourmet in West Concord, and elsewhere, as well as online; the business is know in part for its organic sourdough bagels along with its house-made cream cheese.
