Hopsters to Open in Boston's Fort Point Neighborhood

A brewpub and "community" brewery in Newton that allows folks to make their own beer is opening another location in a particularly hot section of Boston for food and drink.

Boston Magazine is reporting that Hopsters is in the final stages of landing a location for a new outlet somewhere in the Fort Point area of the city, with owner Lee Cooper saying that "I can't give the exact location yet, but we're not far from Seaport Boulevard." The article says that the 6,000-foot-space will have a similar concept to the original location on Centre Street in Newton Corner, with a dining and drinking area offering flatbreads and other dishes and a section where people can brew their own beer--and customers will also be able to buy crowlers (32-ounce cans) of Hopsters beers. If all goes as planned, the new location in Fort Point could be opening in February of 2017.

Hopsters first opened in Newton Corner in 2013, with a package store called Hopsters Alley also opening in the Boston Public Market last year. The website for Hopsters can be found at http://ift.tt/1CgSdkf
