Paul Pierce may be gone from the Boston Celtics, but he may be back at some point--possibly as the owner of a restaurant and/or bar.
The Boston Globe is reporting that the former Celtics star (now with the Brooklyn Nets) says he would like to return to Boston after his playing days are over, possibly to open a sports bar. Pierce mentions that he "None of the former Celtic great players have come and done that....You see the Don Shula restaurant, the Michael Jordan restaurant, and Magic [Johnson] got the theaters in LA." He goes on to say that "I am going to still have relationships here. I'm always going to come to this city. Every year, when I'm done, I'm going to have a reason to come here."
Pierce was a forward for the Celtics, playing for the team from 1998 until 2013 (he was traded to the Nets in July).
