Alden & Harlow Is Opening a Beer Garden on Brattle Street in Cambridge's Harvard Square

A Cambridge restaurant is getting in on a hot trend for beer lovers.

According to a press release, Alden & Harlow in Harvard Square is setting up a beer garden that will be open on Brattle Street every Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM this fall, with the part of the road between Church Street and Elliot Street being closed to vehicular traffic. The outdoor space will feature a different New England brewery each week, with Maine's Lone Pine being the first brewer on Saturday, September 11. In addition to beer, a number of food items will also be offered at the beer garden, including a kale salad, fried shishito peppers, deviled eggs, warm rye pretzels, and raw bluefin tuna kitfo, while wine and cocktails will also be available.
