A longtime spot in Boston's Financial District for food and drink has been locked up and dark for awhile now, and there are signs that point to an uncertain future for the place.
According to multiple sources, Brandy Pete's on Franklin Street remains closed with no signs of life inside, and a check on its website indicates that it is no longer working while its phone number is out of service as well. One of our sources hears that the restaurant has shut down permanently, which Google also shows in a search for the place, though none of our sources within the restaurant industry have any confirmation of its closing for good. As soon as we find out more information on its exact status, we will post an update here.
Brandy Pete's first opened more than 70 years ago, featuring mainly New American and classic American fare along with beer, wine, and cocktails, with a particular focus on whiskey.
The address for Brandy Pete's is 267 Franklin Street, Boston, MA, 02110.
