A popular Boston breakfast place and sandwich shop that recently expanded to Somerville may be getting ready to expand again, this time to a neighborhood of Boston.
According to a licensing board hearing page within the city's website, Mike & Patty's is planning to open in Jamaica Plain, with the address indicating that it may be looking at the space on Centre Street that had been home to Sorella's until it closed in the spring of 2019. If approved, the new location of the eatery would join its original location in Bay Village along with a new outlet at Bow Market in Union Square.
As mentioned in another article here, Mike & Patty's has been featured on TV Diner and Chronicle and included in Boston Magazine's Best of Boston in both 2012 and 2014--and Yahoo and Thrillist had it on their "short list" of Best Breakfast Sandwiches in the United States for 2015.
The address for the proposed location of Mike & Patty's is 388 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130. Its website can be found at https://ift.tt/3sCgb8m
