Isabelle Plans to Replace Pellino's in Boston's North End

It looks like changes are coming to a restaurant space just outside of North Square in the North End of Boston.

According to a meeting notice page within the North End/Waterfront Residents Association website, Cristobal de Paz and Martin Aliaj have made an agreement to purchase the Prince Street space that is home to Pellino's, with the plan being to open a new restaurant called Isabelle. Very little additional information has been given other than the fact that a transfer of the liquor license from Isabelle to Pellino's is in the works and that it appears there would be "no physical or closing hour changes."

Pellino's first opened in the North End in 2012, taking over the space where G'Vanni's had been; another location of Pellino's had been in Marblehead, but that restaurant closed at around the same time that the North End restaurant opened.

The address for Pellino's (and the proposed Isabelle) is 2 Prince Street, Boston, MA, 02113.
