Stoughton House of Brews Is Being Reborn Under New Ownership

A few months ago, it was reported that an eclectic suburban spot that was part coffeehouse, part tavern, and part music venue had closed down. Now we have learned that it is returning, and the place will have a new owner and some changes made to it.

According to a tweet from @JeremyKrantz, Stoughton House of Brews will be opening once again, with an article from The Enterprise saying that Greg Morgan purchased the Porter Street spot from Leo and Sandra Fay, who temporarily shuttered the place in March as the COVID-19 pandemic started to take hold, then announced in June that it would close for good. The post says that Morgan is joined by executive chef Rick Gallego and general manager Stephen Dray, and that the place will have some renovations made to the interior along with such offerings as burgers, steaks, wings, flatbreads, local brews, and infused drinks--and brunch may start at some point down the road. If all goes well, Stoughton House of Brews could return in a few weeks.

The original Stoughton House of Brews first opened its doors in 2013.

The address for Stoughton House of Brews is 28 Porter Street, Stoughton, MA, 02072.
