Tandoori Paneer Pizza is a sinful mix of tandoori masala mix with paneer topped over a pizza that makes a wonderful meal anytime.
When I had made this pizza my kids couldn’t get enough of it. That was because all it had was just paneer in a tandoori masala that they all love. It was easy for me as well as I just used a store bought spice mix and didn’t bother about marinating the paneer with it.
This is a simple and straight forward pizza dough recipe topped with goodness of tandoori paneer. Just seeing these pictures makes me want to make it again!
We are starting the BM#106 with week 1 being Pizzas and Pastas. So for the second day, it’s a fusion dish made with chapati stuffed with roasted vegetables along with pizza sauce and cheese. I am hosting this month’s Kid’s Delight event, themed on Pizzas and Pastas
Tandoori Paneer Pizza
For the Pizza Dough

240 gms Milk
2 tbsp Sugar
1.5 tsp Instant yeast
1.5 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Cooking Oil
1/2 tsp Salt
Tandoori Sauce
1 cup Tomato Puree
2 tbsp Tomato sauce
1/2 cup Onion Puree
2 tsp Chili Flakes (increase as per taste)
2 tsp Butter
1 tsp Cheese grated
2 tsp Tandoori Spice Mix
2 to 3 to Garlic, crushed
Salt to taste
For the Topping
1 cup Paneer / Cottage Cheese
1 tbsp Butter
Other Ingredients
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup Cheddar Cheese
For the Dough
First of all, take all the ingredients in a bowl. Slowly add water to knead the bread dough until smooth and shiny.
Let it rise in a greased bowl for an hour or it doubles in size.
When the dough almost doubles, pinch out balls and take one ball and dust well.
Roll the dough into 6 inch disc. Grease a pizza pan and place the disc on it.
Finally, prick all over so that the dough doesn’t rise during baking.
Similarly, prepare the other balls and keep it aside.
For the Tandoori Sauce
While the dough is resting, lets prepared the tandoori sauce.
Heat a nonstick pan with butter, add crushed garlic saute for a minute.
Next, add the onion and tomato puree bring to a boil.
Add salt and all the spice powders. While the sauce is simmering, cover with a lid and let it get well cooked.
Finally, add the cheese and combine well.
For assembling the pizza
Preheat the oven at 185 deg C.
On the rolled cooked pizza base, spread the pizza sauce, sprinkle half of the grated cheese, next top with paneer
Finally, again sprinkle remaining cheese. So once the topping is done, let’s bake the pizza for 30 mins at 185 Deg C.
