One of Boston's best-known dining and drinking spots has closed its doors for good.
According to a post from CBS Boston, Doyle's Cafe in Jamaica Plain has shut down, with a source confirming that yesterday was its last day in business. As stated earlier, the Washington Street restaurant and bar sold its liquor license to an upcoming location of Davio's in Boston's Seaport District, though it is still not known what might happen to the space itself.
Doyle's Cafe first opened in 1882.
The address for Doyle's was 3484 Washington Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130.
