It looks like yet another local brewery has taken a hit, as its brewpub has shut down while the status of its brewery is currently unknown.
According to a source, Battle Road Brew House is no longer in operation, with posters on social media mentioning that the doors of the Sudbury Street spot are closed while phone calls indicate that its voicemail box is full. In addition, a comment within an events page from local rock band The Haymakers says "Sad News Y'all! Battle Road has Closed [its] doors so our show on Wednesday, November 27th has been cancelled." It is not known why Battle Road Brew House has shuttered, nor is it known whether the Battle Road Brewery itself is affected as well; we attempted to reach out to them yesterday and are still waiting to hear back, so stay tuned for updates.
Local radio personality Greg Hill and his Whole House Group partnered with the founders of Battle Road Brewery in the opening of Battle Road Brew House in early 2017. Hill's group had also operated Flank in Waltham and 29 Sudbury, but both were sold last year with Flank being replaced by The Federal and 29 Sudbury being replaced by 29 Rustic Mediterranean.
The address for Battle Road Brew House is 20 Sudbury Street, Maynard, MA, 01754.
