It looks like a new Japanese restaurant is on its way to the Boston waterfront.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Shin-Mono is opening in the Seaport District, with the storefront indicating that it will be an izakaya (a casual Japanese pub or tavern) that features ramen. The eatery is opening at 121 Seaport, a development that opened last year which includes Taiyaki NYC, an ice cream shop that debuted this spring.
Very little is known about Shin-Mono at this point in time, including who might be behind it and when it might open, so stay tuned for updates as they come in.
The address Shin-Mono appears to be 121 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA, 02210, though the exact address number could end up being slightly different (Taiyaki NYC is at 119 Seaport Boulevard).
