A Boston-based chain of bakery-cafes has closed one of its locations within the city.
According to several sources, Au Bon Pain at the Prudential Center in Boston's Back Bay is no longer in business, with a tweet from @Celtkicks confirming that the shop shut down yesterday. A sign out front refers customers to a nearby outlet at Copley Place, while ten others in Boston (and three other locations in Massachusetts in Cambridge, Somerville, and Easton) remain in business.
Au Bon Pain, which was established in the mid-1970s and currently has approximately 200 locations in the United States and overseas, is headquartered in Boston's Seaport District, though the company is now owned by Panera. The website for the chain can be found at https://ift.tt/2y6JhQS
