Hello, Sweet Inspirations.
I dropped by its Hemady Square branch one Saturday afternoon and I was surprised to see a Mongolian station.
Apparently, Sweet Inspirations is known for its Unlimited Mongolian buffet priced at PHP380 (or PHP240 for single bowl from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm on weekdays).
Since I was full from my first stop, I wasn't able to maximize my unlimited Mongolian experience as I just settled for a quarter of a bowl with some of my favorite meats and greens on top of white rice.
And with the help of Sweet Inspirations' friendly staff, I managed to come up with a scrumptious bowl.
After finishing my creation, I tasted some of the restaurant's mouthwatering cakes such as Strawberry Shortcake (PHP60/slice), Red Velvet Cheesecake (PHP90/slice), Pistachio Sansrival (PHP96/slice), Mangoes and Cream (PHP75/slice) and Caramel Cake (PHP70/slice).
Though all were delicious, my favorite was strawberry shortcake. The fluffy chiffon and the light strawberry flavor won me over.
Some other crowd favorites were Ube de Leche (PHP73/slice) with its rich flavor and Chocolate Decadent (PHP85/slice) which was very true to its name.
Too bad I wasn't able to try the Halo-Halo which looked really good too and perfect for the unforgiving Manila heat.
But I'll definitely be back for more and with an empty tummy.
