It looks like a brewery and brewhouse may be on its way to the heart of downtown Boston.
According to an article in BostInno, Democracy Brewing is planning to open in Downtown Crossing, with the space including a brewhouse with communal seating and a full kitchen, an Irish "snug" for small groups, and a private event space. The post mentions that the food menu may focus on shareable plates while beers will include a golden ale, an Irish stout, an IPA, a pale ale, a house saison, and seasonal IPA options, and cask and barrel aging will be done in-house as well.
If all goes as planned, the new Democracy Brewing could be opening in November.
