A restaurant and bar in Waltham that features comfort food is making plans to move to another section of the city.
According to several sources, City Streets Restaurant on Lexington Street is going to be moving, with a few of the sources saying that it will apparently take over the space on Waverly Oaks Road where a sandwich shop called Beat Da Wrap had been until closing in March. A worker at City Streets has confirmed that the place will indeed be moving, and a message sent from the restaurant confirms that it is indeed going to move into the Beat Da wrap space. The message also notes that the new space may include an outdoor deck (pending city approval) and that is hopes to open sometime this fall.
City Streets first opened in March of 2011, moving into the space where Legends sports bar had once been. The dining and drinking spot has been featured by our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) as an under-the-radar place to go to for such items as arancini, fried pickles, steak tips, burgers, macaroni and cheese, and more.
