A few months ago, it was reported that a community cafe in the northern suburbs of Boston known for its being an inclusive workplace had closed, but now we have learned that it will be returning.
According to a Facebook post from the place, INspire Café is planning to reopen in its Wakefield space, with the post saying the following:
The Friends of INspire Café [FOIC] is proud to announce the re-opening of INspire Café, a beloved community hub dedicated to meaningful employment for individuals with differing abilities. The café’s return comes during National Disability Employment Awareness Month and National Down Syndrome Awareness Month, underscoring the organization's commitment to inclusive workforce development and community engagement. Following the café's closure in September, community members, volunteers, partners, and supporters came together to ensure its future. FOIC is honored to announce a new operational partnership with Gina and Ed Goodwin, owners of School Street Foods.
The post goes on to say that a public reopening celebration will be announced over the coming weeks.
INspire Café first opened early last year, focusing on helping bring about change by offering employment opportunities for people with diverse abilities.
The address for INspire Café is 411 Main Street, Wakefield, MA, 01880. Its website can be found at https://ift.tt/QbKBh2G
