A small local group of Mexican restaurants is getting a bit smaller, as its closest location to Boston is shutting down, though it could be reborn in a new space.
According to its Facebook page, Acapulcos Mexican Family Restaurant & Cantina in Quincy is planning to close on January 12, with one of the posts saying the following:
...the city of Quincy will be taking over the building we're located in for the development of a park. While this marks the end of an era for us at this location, we are actively seeking a new home within Quincy in hopes of continuing to serve our beloved community.
The Quincy location of Acapulcos first opened 18 years ago, offering such items as burritos, enchiladas, tacos, nachos, fajitas, and margaritas; other locations can be found locally in Beverly, Franklin, Milford, and Norwood.
The address for Acapulcos Mexican Family Restaurant & Cantina in Quincy is 1388 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA, 02169. The website for all locations is at https://acapulcos.net/
