A pair of comfort food spots known in part for their chicken dishes may be joined by a third--and its second within the Boston city limits.
According to a licensing board hearing page, Shy Bird is planning to open in the city's Fenway neighborhood, moving into a space on Brookline Avenue a short distance from Fenway Park. If approved, the restaurant would join others in Cambridge's Kendall Square and in South Boston, and it is seeking a liquor license from Fields West, an Allston dining spot that appeared to temporarily shut down earlier this year.
