A South Shore restaurant and cocktail bar has shut down after being in business for just under four years.
A check on the place indicates that 4th & Cherry in Weymouth Landing is no longer in business, with a Facebook post from the place on Friday saying the following:
As today marks 1 week since we closed 4th & Cherry, and with the bar now empty, we wanted to take a moment and give a proper thank you to a few people. First, thank you to Emily, @em_curt. She's been right there sticking it out with us for the last 3 years. Next, a very special thank you to Inga's father, brother & mother for creating and building the beautiful 4th & Cherry ceiling, hutches, and cabinets. And finally, thank you to each of you who showed up weekly and were open-minded to try the ever changing craft cocktails and crafty food.
4th & Cherry first opened in the summer of 2020, taking over the space that had previously been home to Passport. The restaurant was known in part for its craft beer selection and cocktails, along with its classic American and New American fare.
The address for the now-closed 4th & Cherry was 59 Washington Street (Route 53), Weymouth, MA, 02188.
