It looks like a new Thai restaurant is on its way to Brighton, moving into the space where an Asian fusion spot had been.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Thonglor is planning to open in Oak Square, taking over the former Twelve Hours space on Washington Street. A voting hearing agenda page within the City of Boston website mentions that the upcoming eatery would have 38 seats and that it hopes to be open for lunch and dinner, with the parent company being Yak Thai, Inc. and the manager listed being Piyapong Wongla.
Twelve Hours, which closed earlier this year, offered dishes with Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese influences.
The address for the upcoming Thonglor in Oak Square is 559 Washington Street, Brighton, MA, 02135.
