A new dining and drinking spot is getting ready to open where a neighborhood bar in Charlestown had been, and it will have a similar name, though the concept appears to be a bit different.
According to multiple sources, Sullivan's Public House is opening very soon in the former Sullivan's Pub space on Main Street, with a Facebook post from the place indicating that it will apparently focus more on food than the previous watering hole, offering such items as scotch eggs, potato soup, soda bread, wings, potato boxty, grilled cheese, brick chicken, sirloin steak, a burger, hummus, and more, while also offering beer, wine, cider, and cocktails, the latter of which includes martinis, black velvets, chilled Irish coffee, and margaritas.
Sullivan's Pub was a cash-only watering hole that was mainly a local hangout.
The address for Sullivan's Public House is 85 Main Street, Charlestown, MA, 02129.
