The Flamingo to Open in the Former Four Winds Space in Boston's North End

A new dining and drinking spot may replacing a now-closed bar in the North End of Boston, and some familiar names are behind the place.

According to a licensing board hearing page within the city's website, The Flamingo it planning to open in the space on Commercial Street that had been home to Four Winds Bar & Grill, with a message sent to us indicating that the people behind it are Jairo Dominguez (Publico, Backyard Betty's, Casa Cana, Madre, Bar Mercato, The Grande/Rock & Rye), Tyrone Di Stasi (The Grande/Rock & Rye), and Richard Sullivan II (R.F. O'Sullivan's). No specifics have been given on the proposed restaurant and bar as of yet, so keep checking back for updates.

Four Winds closed in the fall of 2019 after being in business since the late 1960s.

The address for The Flamingo would be 266 Commercial Street, Boston, MA, 02109.
