A new restaurant that has been in the works for more than two years has debuted in South Boston.
As stated in an earlier article (and as mentioned by Eater Boston), Lenox Sophia is now open on A Street, taking over the space just north of W Broadway where a location of KO Catering & Pies had been. Eater Boston says that the new spot is a "casual fine dining" restaurant, with owner Shi Mei (whose resume includes The French Laundry) and chef de cuisine Yesid Areiza offering New American fare on the menu, which includes such items as octopus, roasted chicken, Atlantic cod, tagliatelle, duck breast, and more (ed note--they do not have a liquor license as of yet, and they are not taking reservations or doing takeout/delivery at this time).
The address for Lenox Sophia is 87 A Street, South Boston, MA, 02127. Its website can be found at https://ift.tt/xlu6a1AwM
