Silk Road Uyghur Cuisine Plans to Open in Vittorio's Grill and Kitchen Space in Brookline

A Cambridge restaurant that features Central Asian cuisine is looking to open expand to Brookline.

According to an article from Wicked Local, Silk Road Uyghur Cuisine is planning to open on Beacon Street, taking over the space where Vittorio's Grill and Kitchen currently resides. Once the new location opens, expect to see dishes that are typically found in the far northwest part of China (including kebabs, mutton, kebabs, and roasted fish and rice), with most of the food being halal. It looks like work could begin on the space in early May, possibly taking one or two weeks to complete.

The Cambridge location of Silk Road Uyghur Cuisine, which resides on Cambridge Street, first opened in June of 2017.
