Brothers Marketplace in Waltham Is Closing

A local supermarket chain is going to be closing one of its outlets west of Boston.

According to a source, Brothers Marketplace in Waltham is shutting down permanently later this spring, with a Facebook post from The Waltham Channel stating that the Main Street store will shutter on or before May 28. It appears that other locations of the grocery store in Cambridge, Duxbury, Medfield, and Weston will remain in operation, and The Waltham Channel also says that Roche Bros.--which operates the Brothers Marketplace stores--will be opening a new supermarket at Arsenal Yards in Watertown on April 9.

The Waltham location of Brothers Marketplace first opened in the spring of 2018, focusing in part on regional and specialty products.

The address for Brothers Marketplace in Waltham is 1 Moody Street, Waltham, MA, 02451. The website for all of the stores can be found at https://ift.tt/34NFrN8
