A former media person who now runs two North End spots is going to be opening a third, with this one taking over the space that had been home to a cafe and coffee shop that recently shut down for good.
According to a tweet, Jen Royle is opening Table Caffe on Hanover Street, moving into the former My Cousin's Place space across the street from Table restaurant and Table Mercato. The post mentions that the upcoming spot will be an Italian sandwich shop that also offers house-made gelato, with the plan being to open by June if all goes well.
Royle had once been a sports reporter, news reporter, and talk show host, and she had also been on Beat Bobby Flay and The Taste before opening Table a couple of years ago. (Table Mercato, which is an Italian market and cafe, debuted last fall.)
The address for the upcoming Table Caffe is 396 Hanover Street, Boston, MA, 02113.
