It looks like a new spot for coffee is on its way to downtown Boston, and it will be taking over one of the retail spaces vacated by a local coffee company.
According to a source (Geoff Wong), Phin Coffee House is planning to open on High Street in a former Boston Common Coffee Co. space, with a sign up for the spot simply saying "Coming Soon." No other information can be found on the business, including what it may offer and when it might open, so as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.
Boston Common Coffee Co. closed its High Street location last September, following the closure of its shops on Washington Street in Downtown Crossing, Canal Street in the North Station/West End area, and Salem Street in the North End over the past few years. Currently, the company focuses mainly on online sales and wholesale.
The address for the upcoming Phin Coffee House is 10 High Street, Boston, MA, 02110.
